If you are looking for basic examples of different organization charts or organization structures, take a look at the Encyclopedia of Management (2009) or Organization Charts (2000).  Both of these titles are available in the CGPS Library’s Reference Collection.

Evaluating articles that you have located in a database can be difficult to evaluate. Online articles do not always provide you with the same physical characteristics (advertisements, graphs, illustrations) that you would use to evaluate print articles.

Databases that search a variety of publications – such as magazines, scholarly journals, and newspapers – will often provide you with a tab, link, or a check box that allows you to limit your search results strictly to peer-reviewed/scholarly journal articles. Simply use these handy database features to limit your search results to the appropriate publications.
